so, I've wondered for a while what they did in Harry Potter in regards to the Tom Marvolo Riddle / I am Lord Voldemort thing. so I looked it up. and behold, they changed Tom Riddle's name to fit an appropriate phrase! below are some highlights; the bold ones are names that are vastly different from TMR or are just really funny.

Catalan: TOD MORVOSC RODLEL <--> SÓC LORD VOLDEMORT (I am Lord Voldemort)

Czech: TOM ROJVOL RADDLE <--> JÁ LORD VOLDEMORT (Me, Lord Voldemort) [you, Jan.]

Danish: ROMEO G DETLEV JR. <--> JEG ER VOLDEMORT (I am Voldemort) [oh Romeo, oh Romeo, der hvor er du Romeo?]

Dutch: MARTEN ASMODOM VILIJN <--> MIJN NAAM IS VOLDEMORT (My name is Voldemort)

Estonian: TOM MARVOLON RIDDLE <--> MINA LORD VOLDEMORT (Me, Lord Voldemort)

Finnish: TOM LOMEN VALEDRO <--> MA OLEN VOLDEMORT (I am Voldemort)

French: TOM ELVIS JEDUSOR <--> JE SUIS VOLDEMORT (I am Voldemort) [Elvis? really? I could more easily see the name "Velis," but whatever, it's up to them, I suppose. o.O ]

German: TOM VORLOST RIDDLE <--> IST LORD VOLDEMORT ([It] is Lord Voldemort)

Greek: ANTON MORVOL HERT <--> ARCHON VOLDEMORT (Lord Voldemort)

Hungarian: TOM ROWLE DENEM <--> NEVEM VOLDEMORT (My name is Voldemort)

Icelandic: TREVOR DELGOME <--> ÉG ER VOLDEMORT (I am Voldemort) [since the bad guy's Trevor, I wonder if they named Neville's toad Tom instead...]

Italian: TOM ORVOLOSON RIDDLE <--> SON IO LORD VOLDEMORT (Lord Voldemort is me)

Latin: TOM GUS MERVOLO DOLDER <--> EGO SUM LORD VOLDEMORT (I am Lord Voldemort) [just in case you happen to be travelling back to Ancient Roman times.]

Latvian: TOMS SVERELDO MELSUDORS <--> ES ESMU LORDS VOLDEMORTS (I am Lord Voldemort)

Norwegian: TOM DREDOLO VENSTER <--> VOLDEMORT DEN STORE (Voldemort the great)

Polish: TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE <--> JAM JEST LORD VOLDEMORT (I am Lord Voldemort)

Portuguese (Brazilian): TOM SERVOLO RIDDLE <--> EIS LORD VOLDEMORT (Behold Lord Voldemort)

Romanian: TOMAS DORLENT CRUPLUD <--> SUNT LORDUL CAP-DE-MORT (I am Lord Cap-de-mort) [Cruplud? it's like onomatopoeia! cru-PLUD!]

Slovak: TOM MARVOLOSO RIDDLE <--> A SOM I LORD VOLDEMORT (And I am also Lord Voldemort) [as well as that guy over there, the man who lives four doors down, our pharmacist...]

Spanish: TOM SORVOLO RYDDLE <--> SOY LORD VOLDEMORT (I am Lord Voldemort) [For those who are Lactose Lord Voldemort intolerant!]

Turkish: TOM MARVOLDO RIDDLE <--> ADIM LORD VOLDEMORT (My name is Lord Voldemort)

"Ma olen Voldemort" (the Finnish) sounds so poetic...:P
No one says "ma" in real life.

Estonian one is quite good, I think. We are lucky to have the phrase that´s different in only one letter.
Although, yeah, this isn´t the way someone talks nowadays. The Finnish one is closer to our language. :)
